This innovation offers clear advantages over regular copper. Silver is a superior conductor of electricity allowing electrons to flow with minimal resistance resulting in a smoother electrical current flow. As a consequence more of the signal is preserved at the connection point between the device and cable delivering a more accurate and comprehensive representation of the original signal. To further enhance the performance of the Yukon series of analogue interconnects AudioQuest has integrated Polyethylene Air-Tubes Insulation on both conductors. This technology stabilizes the cables geometry and boosts clarity. By countering the energy absorbed by the cables insulation and construction materials it prevents the storage and release of distortion that could otherwise impact the cables overall performance. The result is an even more refined and distortion-free audio experience.
