The Audix A231 Condenser is a versatile and premium studio microphone that is ideal for recording a wide range of sources including vocals electric guitar drums and piano. Consisting of an externally-biased condenser capsule and low-noise circuitry the A231 lets you capture your performance in immense detail and clarity excelling in capturing the detailed nature of a human voice and acoustic instruments. The 33mm gold-sputtered cardioid capsule allows you to remain at the front and centre of your recordings at all times rejecting any outside interference from off-axis sound sources maintaining a clean and consistent signal transfer. Ideal for broadcasters the Audix A231 is designed with a unique and sophisticated integrated shock mount that eliminates the need for bulky external shock mounts. Now you can record freely without the worry of touch-capacitive sources disturbing your microphone and causing loud pops and bumps. The A213 comes complete with a double-woven steel mesh grille and ultra-thin acoustic foam. This is ideal for protecting against plosives and sibilance when recording singing and spoken word. Underneath the grille the capsules open-air design is incredible for guaranteeing perfectly transparent unfiltered sound.
