The Bowers & Wilkins 603 S3 Floorstanding Speakers are the largest model in the 600 S3 range and feature the latest Titanium Dome tweeter design. Leveraging their half-a-century pedigree in high-end British loudspeaker manufacturing including the B&W 800 Series Diamond Range chosen by sound engineers at the legendary Abbey Road Studios B&W has made notable adjustments to the iconic design achieving a greater balance between accessibility and high-fidelity performance. Key among these upgrades the 25mm Decoupled Double Dome Titanium tweeter replaces the previous aluminium construction. This change greatly improves resolution responsiveness and supports an overall more faithful home audio experience.Accompanying the new tweeter the 603 S3 features a six-inch Continuum cone FST (Fixed Suspension Transducers) midrange along with two six-and-a-half-inch Paper bass cone drivers. This makes this floorstander a prime choice for room-filling home cinema or a high-detail high-power stereo music setup with bass that leaves an impression. Backed by a rear-facing bass cabinet port dubbed the Flowport clarity and low distortion are maintained by the dimpled design which reduces drag on air being forced from the speaker during use.
