- The meaty Aguilar Octamizer thoughtfully splits the octave and clean signals in two before setting you up with two sets of controls. Accurately pack out your bass sound with this full-fat, organic effect - a full octave below. While it only comes fitted with four control pots, this pedal keeps things flexible and precise. On the right, set the Level and dial in the colour of your clean signal via the one-pot full-spectrum EQ Tone control, which can be set to boost the trebles and filter out the low-end (or the other way around). On the left, the Filter pot harnesses a multi-pole low-pass filter which can take the added octave sound from deep and round to ultra-defined with a tasty and aggressive edge, before Level pot polishes off your preferred mix. In terms of range, the superior tracking of the Octamizer can be tweaked to deliver your traditional octaver sounds as well as your thicker, synth-style sounds.
