Product Fundamentals
  • Flexible design Ideal for almost any sound source. The AKG C3000 boasts an incredibly versatile design that is perfect for stage and studio use. A high-performance cardioid capsule forms the heart of the C3000 providing excellent isolation with a wide frequency response (20Hz - 20kHz). From recording to performing the C3000 has been designed to accurately capture vocals guitars drums brass and more with exceptional clarity and detail. The microphone is capable of capturing sounds with an SPL of up to 150dB thanks to an integrated switchable pre-attenuation pad whilst a switchable low-cut filter eliminates the proximity effect and unwanted low-frequency noise below 500Hz. With hand-selected premium-grade components the C3000 delivers a powerful yet natural sound accurately reproducing every nuance of your performance. Rugged and reliable Built to last. The C3000 has been constructed to withstand the demanding nature of stage and studio environments. A heavy-duty all-metal housing provides excellent rejection of RF interference as well as ensuring that the precious internal components are kept safe. A robust metal grille protects the C3000s capsule whilst the transducer element itself utilises advanced backplate technology and a diaphragm with gold-sputtering on one side only. This prevents local shorting to the microphones back electrode even at extremely-high SPLs. Capable of withstanding rough handling for many years the AKG C3000 is an excellent workhorse for a wide variety of environments and situations. Whats included?
