- Exceptional Expandability The Allen and Heath AR2412 is the main AudioRack for the GLD mixing system. Providing 24 XLR inputs and 12 XLR outputs the AR2412 connects over Cat5 cable running Allen & Heaths dSNAKE protocol allowing the unit to be positioned up to 120m from the mixer. dSNAKE protocol allows control for the remote preamp and all mic preamps are scene recallable. A GLD-AR84 Expander can also be connected to the unit to add a further 8 XLR inputs and 4 XLR outputs. An Aviom Pro 16 compatible monitor port is also featured. Features This is required for full functionality of your GLD-80 digital mixer! May be placed onstage and run to FOH with up to 400 of Cat 5 cable Provides flexibility in the configuration of your live sound system 24 XLR mic/line inputs (with phantom power)
