- Versatile compact audio mixer Whether you are performing on stage recording a podcast or making music in your home studio it is vital that you have a low profile and simple mixer that gives you full control over your sounds. Check out the Alto TrueMix 800FX a dynamic compact and useful mixer with a vast array of features to help you consolidate your equipment and adjust your audio to perfection. Featuring four mono channels with a jack and an XLR input and two stereo channels with dual TRS connectors each of these channels is equipped with a two band EQ a left to right pan FX and send/return controls as well as a volume attenuator and gain control. A USB connector on the back of the mixer allows you to hook it up to a PC for digital audio in and out giving you the ability to record and play digital audio files. Comprehensive control section Channels one to four all feature phantom power allowing you to operate condenser microphones and other types that require power to their active circuits to operate. Balanced stereo channels five and six can function as mono or stereo inputs so that you can plug in any stereo equipment or instrument. To the right of the six channels is the EFX section featuring 16 built in Alesis multi-effects with variation and return controls. Alongside the 6 main channels the TrueMix 800FX is equipped with a two track/USB section with dual RCA in and out as well as an attenuator that works for both applications. Additionally the TrueMix 800FX also has a Bluetooth connection capability with a mix minus return for feedback free device pairing. Ergonomic and easy to use Four headphone outputs each with their own attenuator give you the option to plug in four single stereo TRS jack headphones or monitors. Also connected to the headphone bus is a control room output which features a further stereo left and right TRS output controlled by the same attenuator as headphone output one. All knobs on the TrueMix 800FX are colour coded so that you can easily distinguish them and their purpose. To help you use the mixer effortlessly there is a map on the faceplate of the mixer itself displaying the signal path to you. A master volume control on the bottom right of the TrueMix 800FX features an eight segment LED VU meter that displays visual volume information for the main output. The mixer is powered by an included 18V DC power supply with a mains plug and features an on and off switch. Extra knobs are supplied with the TrueMix so that if you lose one you have a replacement. The TrueMix 800FX is an essential item for people looking for a useful compact and versatile mixer.
