- Reflector Series Aquarians Reflector Series drum heads are inspired by the legendary drummer Eric Moore and they feature a two-ply 17mil construction. The bottom ply uses Aquarians special 10mil black film which is denser and brighter than the standard material used on most of their other drumheads whilst the top layer uses the 7mil film from the Classic Clear Series heads offering enhanced warmth to complement the thicker heavier bottom. The result of these two plies is a balanced sound which is warm at lower volumes but bright and articulate when it is played at higher volume levels. In addition to the great tone the Reflector drum heads are visually pleasing thanks to the hybrid construction. As the name suggests the Reflector Series drum heads reflect light and create a stunning mirror black appearance. Ideal for a wide range of drumming styles and genres and for use with sticks or brushes the Aquarian Reflector Series drum heads balance the extreme durability of a 17mil head with the tonal warmth and quality of Classic Clear heads. Aquarians heads feature their Safe-T-Loc system which locks the drum head into specially contoured aluminium extrusion hoops secured with epoxy. This results in a head which will not detune no matter what you put it through. All of Aquarians two-ply heads undergo a special vacuum-sealing process which ensures no air gets trapped between the surfaces guaranteeing a pure clear tone throughout your drumming.
