- Ashdown brings with the Roasted Saint an electric bass guitar that may be described as a true all-rounder. Indeed, the poplar body is loaded with a set of alnico pickups in the versatile PJ configuration. Add to this the CTS potentiometers and you get a bass in your hands whose sound you can shape in detail. Both the neck and fingerboard are made of roasted maple. This makes the bass extra stable and gives it a nice bright touch. The fresh offset body combined with the matching headstock give this inexpensive bass guitar a tough look with a vintage character.
