Made from zinc-coated micro-discs it delivers a consistent particulate size for reliable sonic performance. By minimising resonance Atabites create a solid sonically dead platform allowing your speakers to sound their best. With a high density of 2403 KG/m Atabites require less volume than alternatives like dry sand making them a more efficient choice for filling speaker stands. Supplied in seven-kilogram tubs and measured by weight for accuracy they provide an easy way to enhance your listening setup. While the ideal fill level depends on factors such as speaker type and room acoustics filling stands to around two-thirds full is generally recommended for the best balance of stability and performance. To use Atabites simply pour them into the hollow columns of a compatible speaker stand until you reach the recommended fill level. This added mass helps to anchor the stands reducing unwanted vibrations that can muddy the sound.
