Product Fundamentals
  • The Audio-Technica AT-LPA2 is a high-end turntable built for serious vinyl enthusiasts representing one of the brands most advanced models yet. It uses high-density acrylic in both the 20mm platter and 30mm chassis to minimise unwanted resonance and maintain a stable rotation speed—all while offering a sleek almost ethereal appearance. Playback accuracy is driven by a DC servo motor belt-drive system supporting both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM for compatibility with the majority of records used today. You can also fine-tune your setup around the straight carbon fibre tonearm which features adjustable VTA anti-skate and interchangeable counterweights with heavy and light weights included in the box. Fitted with the AT-OC9XEN Dual Moving Coil Cartridge the AT-LPA2 delivers excellent channel separation and natural sound. The separate power and control units minimise interference to maintain signal purity and the turntable is also packed with high-quality cables for easy setup despite its high-end specifications.
