- The Audio Technica AT-VM520xEB is a great choice if you want to hear more of the subtle details in your vinyl. It features an elliptical bonded stylus which tracks the grooves with greater precision than the conical stylus found in the AT-VM510xCB. That means improved clarity and definition especially in complex or high-frequency passages. As with other VMx series cartridges the dual magnet design replicates the layout of the original cutting head helping deliver a spacious stereo image and an extended frequency range. Its also easy to fit with threaded inserts that let you attach it directly to your headshell using just two screws. The stylus guard includes a V-cut for accurate visual alignment and the cartridge body is compatible with a wide range of the VMx series replacement styli giving you plenty of upgrade options as your system evolves.
