Isolate your signal Ideal for many recording applications the Audix A231 has been designed to offer maximum sound isolation for your signal ensuring you get the cleanest audio recording to work with. This is achieved through the use of a double-woven steel mesh grille and ultra-thin acoustic foam that offers exceptional pop resistance when recording instruments with harsh transients such as drum shells or plosives from vocal recordings. Additionally a unique and innovative internal shock mount isolates the Audix A231 Condenser microphone from any external vibrations that can interfere with your recording including any touch noise. By decoupling the microphone from the stand the integrated shock mount ensures that any vibrations through the microphone stand are effectively eliminated making it the ideal choice for podcasters who need to move the microphone around for different sections of the show or for loud instruments that might cause rumbling in the recording room such as an electric bass amplifier.
