The D6 is specifically designed for the bass drum, whereby the frequencies below 100 Hz receive a significant boost. A peak around 2 kHz ensures that the body as well as the attack are well reproduced. i5 microphones feature a very light diaphragm, which makes them respond to fierce attacks, the so-called transient response. The entire set can be stored in the accessory aluminium case with its soft foam lining.
