- The AVCOM 8 Inch Stereo In-Ceiling Speaker (Single) - AC-S-ICS8 is suited to rooms where you want stereo sound from a single ceiling speaker. Its dual ¾" ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters handle the left and right channels allowing you to enjoy a fuller stereo image without installing two separate speakers. This makes it particularly useful in kitchens hallways bathrooms or smaller living spaces.An 8" polypropylene woofer supports the tweeters with clear midrange and solid bass response helping music and TV audio sound balanced and present. With 150 watts of power handling and 8-ohm impedance the speaker integrates easily with most amplifiers and AV receivers. Installation is straightforward thanks to the rotating dog-leg mounting clamps which secure the speaker behind the ceiling for a neat flush finish.
