Product Fundamentals
  • Boss Wireless Technology For the WL-50 Boss used the high-performance wireless technology that debuted in the Katana-Air providing players with incredible sound quality and a wide dynamic range. The system runs at a 2.4 GHz frequency band and automatically selects the optimum channel delivering a rock-solid audio performance with absolutely no chance for the signal to drop out. The WL-50 also features an ultra-low latency of 2.4ms ensuring players receive no lag between playing a note and hearing it. Built-In Cable Tone Simulation The addition of a cable tone simulation recaptures the natural capacitive effect thats produced when a guitar or bass with a passive pickup is connected to a guitar cable. This slight effect adjusts the level of treble the guitar produces adding a warm characteristic for an ultra-realistic wired performance. The receiver offers the choice between two different cable lengths -short or long- or the option to bypass it completely. Quick & Easy Setup Unlike other wireless systems which have you fiddling with channels frequencies and other requirements the WL-50 only requires you to dock the transmitter in the receiver for 10 seconds. This automatically sets the system up with the optimum connection and lets you simply plug in and start rocking out. While the transistor can be recharged via a micro USB the receiver is powered by an AC adaptor or two AA batteries letting you take the wireless system anywhere. The receiver can also be used to power addition stompboxes if connected to an AC adaptor making it the perfect addition to any pedalboard. Features Plug-and-play wireless system in a stompbox-size format for pedalboards Optimum wireless connection set automatically with no complicated setup required Newly developed BOSS technology delivers premium audio performance with rock-solid stability ultra-low latency (2.3 ms) and 65-foot/20-meter range (line-of-sight propagation) Built-in rechargeable battery in transmitter provides up to 12 hours of continuous playing time Plug the transmitter into the receiver&rsquo
  • s docking port for charging and automatic wireless setup (Receiver must be powered via a BOSS PSA-S adaptor) Selectable cable tone simulation options: short long and bypass Receiver powered by optional PSA-S adaptor or two AA batteries With PSA-S adaptor power (sold separately) the receiver&rsquo
