This works best with the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III, but can be used with other smaller bodied cameras such as the Canon EOS M6 MK II. The tripod comes with a detachable Canon BR-E1 Remote that will control the shutter, zoom, movie recording and the autofocus from a distance
