- s Rico Graftonite A5 mouthpiece for alto saxophones features a large chamber for a full and warm sound. Compared to the A3 mouthpiece, this one is slightly bigger with the tip opening measuring .080 inches while the facing length is 20mm. The difference ultimately comes down to enriched and enhanced trebles and, while you will have to work a little harder to produce sound, you are repaid in full with beautiful sound across the board. All Graftonite mouthpieces are designed by Arnold Brilhart and made of polycarbonate.
