Product Fundamentals
- DAddario Zyex These strings feature a core made of multifilament synthetic materials - named Zyex. This is the key to the strings flexibility and elasticity as well as its natural gut like sound. The G string is wound with titanium this provides a brightness to the sound which is well suited to the top string. The D string is stainless steel winding a sturdy material often used in strings. The A and E strings are wound with tungsten - the heaviest material used on strings making this excellent for lower strings. If you play a bass with a low C extension then there are also low C strings available (sold separately). Light tension This set of strings are light tension. These will produce a softer sound than higher tensions however you will find these strings easier to stop and as a result may find that you have a higher playing stamina on these strings.
