DAddario Zyex These strings feature a core made of multifilament synthetic materials - named Zyex. This is the key to the strings flexibility and elasticity as well as its natural gut like sound. The A and D strings are wound with aluminium the lightness of this metal is ideal for higher strings. The G string is wound with silver a material often used in strings as it is resistant to corrosion. The C string is wound with tungsten - the heaviest material used on strings making this excellent for lower strings. Medium tension These strings are medium tension and strike a balance between the projection of heavier strings and the increased stamina youd find on lighter strings.
