- Red Velvet Single Coil@+The DiMarzio Red Velvet expands the already very versatile sound variations of the Stratocaster around the punch and singing typical of Telecaster pickups. This is achieved by a metal plate at the bottom of the pickup, which enhances the magnetic field and adds to the typical 'Tele klang'. A bit more on the attack delivers the promised punch, more windings the singing. The Red Velvet is primarily suitable as a bridge pickup in combination with the Blue Velvet, but it is also quite conceivable for use on the neck and middle position in combination with a 'hotter colleague' at the bridge!@+@+
