- About Gregg Bissonette Gregg Bissonette born in Detroit in 1959 is an American drummer in jazz and rock. He became a renowned name in the drumming world when he joined forces with former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth and Steve Vai appearing on all three US Billboard 200 hit albums and completing world tours to large audiences. Gregg has even had experience teaching drums releasing drum videos that taught double bass drumming rudiments metronome playing and brushes. From 1994 to 2004 Gregg Bissonette played on the musical interludes for every episode of the TV show Friends. Why choose a Brass shell? The answer is simple.
