Product Fundamentals
-
Dogal CS90B5040 Bass Guitar Strings - Handmade in Venice
- Italy

5 String Gauge 40-125 (40 60 75 100 125) Round Core / Round Wound / 35" Scale

CARBONSTEEL Strings are made with an exclusive alloy, strongly enriched with carbon, which gives a full volume of sound and excellent sustain. The reduced tolerance between the internal round core section and the spiral winding prevents sound degradation caused by excessive sweating and damp. The result for the player is a flexible string which is easy to play. Produced using modern techniques but maintaining traditional handcrafted values.

MATERIAL: The special alloy, enriched with Carbon, allows correct tuning with a string tension below 5Kgs.

All Dogal CARBONSTEEL strings are Nickel free.

These strings, realised with the exclusive carbon alloy around a round core, ensure a very high sound volume and a longer sustain. Also, thanks to their lower tension and flexibility, these strings are softer and therefore easy to play without being overly 'zingy'. In this way Dogal can offer strings with thinner diameters but without reducing the resonance. Our tuning 038-086 has the same sound as a 040-100 produced with traditional materials. These strings were designed and created for those that need a warm full sound. Available also for instruments with 5
- 6 and 7 strings and Steinberg system.
