- Italy</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>4 String Gauge 40-98 (40 60 75 98) Round Core / Flat Wound / 34" Scale</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>CARBONFLAT: </strong></b>Provides a perfectly smooth string with a tolerance of only 0.002mm over the entire length of the string, giving perfect intonation. Thanks to the carbon alloy material, the sound quality is very similar to the round wound strings but with all the benefits of the smooth winding regarding clarity and purity of sound. Other advantages of these strings are speed of hand movement on the fingerboard, lack of extraneous noise and a longer sustain compared to round wound strings.</p><p><b><strong>MATERIAL</strong></b>: A metal chrome alloy wound on a round core of steel, strongly enriched with carbon.</p><p>These strings are the evolution of the round wound series. Strings perfectly smooth with a tolerance, on the entire lenght of the string, of 0.002 mm only which allows for perfect intonation. Thanks to the carbon alloy, the sound quality is very similar to our round wound strings, but with all the advantages of the smooth winding for clarity and sound purity.
