- This DW 5000 Series 5710 straight cymbal stand is a very solid stand, with a double-legged construction and a medium-heavy weight. The tilter is toothless, allowing you to adjust your cymbals to a very precise angle, just the way you want. You secure the cymbals with the ergonomic handle, which works a lot easier than a small wing nut. The bottom on which your cymbal rests is also adjustable: should you want to mount a hi-hat or a stack on this stand, for example, you can create more or less space so you can tighten the cymbal as you choose.
