Maple and spruce provide a focused and centred powerful sound with plenty of body and tonal warmth whilst also making a strong and durable instrument. The woods are hand-selected based on their age seasoned and then hand-carved. This results in a cello which looks beautiful and is very hard-wearing helping the player to develop their own unique sound.
