Product Fundamentals
- Actually, the EBS Valve Drive DI is a two-in-one solution: a tube preamp and an overdrive pedal. This makes it a perfect bass DI box for both gigs and recordings. Use the gain and volume controls to adjust the preamp. This allows you to make your sound fuller, thicker and warmer. In addition, the EBS Valve Drive is equipped with an ECC83 (12AX7) tube. This tube is characterised by its high gain without noise and other unwanted noises. Your bass will sound wonderfully full, with past mid frequencies coming through especially well. Turn up the gain control for a delicious overdrive/distortion. In terms of character, you can choose between vintage or normal. Thanks to the XLR output, this bass DI box can be connected directly to a mixing console or PA.
