- The Electro-Voice EKX-18S is a hefty 18-inch, passive subwoofer with an extra compact and lightweight design suitable for mobile installations and touring. On the road, protect the sub with the EKX-18S-CVR protective cover against transport damage, dust, dirt, moisture and similar hazards. This dust cover is made of black nylon and lined with foam rubber. It also features cut-outs for the handles so you can transport the subwoofer with dust cover and all without any problems. The EKX-18S subwoofer has an RMS load capacity of 400W @ 8 Ohms (1600W @ 8 Ohms max.) and produces a maximum sound pressure level of up to 134 dB for a loud, palpable bass layer in your sound.
