Product Fundamentals
  • Great sounds all-round Whether its drums bass guitars vocals or brass. Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern. The RE320 offers exceptional rejection from the rear of the microphone with absolutely no off-axis colouration. The inclusion of an integrated wind filter allows you to achieve that up-close intimate vocal sound. Youll be able to sing right up against the grill without worrying about plosives or excessive sibilance ruining those all important takes. Versatile frequency response For even more tonal contrast take advantage of the RE320s two frequency responses. These consist of "kick drum" and "voice" mode. When engaged "kick drum" mode immediately hypes the sound of the microphone. This provides a subtle low-frequency boost for "weight" and "body" as well as a dip in the 250-500Hz region to remove all undesirable mid-range "boxiness". The inclusion of a high frequency boost ensures plenty of "knock" and "attack" from the beater. This is particularly useful for allowing your kick to not only heard but felt even in the densest of mixes. All without having to reach for an equaliser! Voice mode is by far more natural. The subtle low frequency roll-off starting around 60Hz removes unusable rumble that is often triggered by handling noise and movement. Your voice will sound rich and thick thanks to the 100Hz boost whilst the relatively flat mid-range enables you with the choice as to whether equalisation should be applied or not. Achieve record ready results through the natural top-end boost. This is excellent for maximum clarity and definition. Features Crystal clear audio perfect for a range of studio and live applications Minimal proximity effect thanks to variable-D technology Zero colouration and unwanted noise pickup from a cardioid polar pattern Highly adaptable with two selectable shaping filters Unique dual-voicing switch selects from two response curves Perfectly tailored to vocal frequencies Prevents damaging &lsquo
