Product Fundamentals
  • EMG 40DC E-Bass Pickup
  • 40DC pickup for electric bassWhile the colleagues in the guitar section are more conservative with comparatively active pickups, the bassists were always more open and eager to experiment. So the EMG bass pickups have enjoyed great popularity for many years.@+@+The EMG 40DC is a double spooler for 5-string basses. Due to the wide magnetic field, it has a very good bass response. Like all EMGs, it features an audible amplification of the mids, which fits very well with more modern soundscapes and helps every bass to be more assertive in the band context, especially with the often critical low H string.@+@+
  • 2 parallel coils
  • Wider magnetic field
  • Rich bass
  • Slightly raised centers
  • Maximum string spacing: 79.37 mm
  • Colour: black
  • Includes EMG's exclusive Quik-Connect™ cable, prewired solid shaft volume / tone control set, output jack, battery clip set and adjustment screws
