Product Fundamentals
  • The EMG PJHZ Set EMG&rsquo
  • s PJHZ set comprises of a P-HZ pickup and a LJ-HZ pickup designed with ceramic magnets and steel pole pieces to deliver amazing clarity and sonic range. The P-HZ is a split coil design that covers a wide sonic palette for classic and modern bass sounds that have the feel and dynamic you would expect from a passive. Its short squat coils offer a high end articulation with incredible warmth and low end punch. The LJ-HZ on the other hand offers a more classic bass tone and feel then the P-HZ using stacked coils to create an increased output for incredible jazz tones. The low noise design allows the LJ-HZ to add a tight midrange punch to the tone delivering a smooth high end for a classic passive dynamic response.
