- Vacuum Tube & Germanium Diode The Erica Synths Fusion Ring Modulator V2 is a germanium diode and vacuum tube-based ring modulation unit designed for the Eurorack format. Combining classic ring modulation techniques with modern day design the Fusion Ring Modulator delivers a unique yet powerful tone. The integrated vacuum tube helps to deliver the exceptional warmth and clarity that this modulator produces. It works by enriching your input sources by adding extra harmonic content. You can also change the way the module reacts by using the two-position colour switch. Enriching Your Sound The versatile design of the Erica Synths Ring Modulator includes an adjustable tube overdrive for both audio and carrier inputs providing a precision attenuator which allows you to change the way the overdrive sounds. It is also accompanied by a signal level attenuator which allows you to adjust the volume of your input sources ensuring clean and undistorted audio at all times. The sound shaping circuit and audio transformers ensure optimal audio performance and quality retaining the natural harmonics of your input sources. Design & Connectivity The compact yet robust design features a vacuum tube in the centre of the module which not only shows you your internal tube circuit but it also presents it as a keystone for the ring modulation. The ergonomic design features clearly annotated attenuators which features a nodule design for optimal precision. Between them is the colour-switch for changing the overall tone of your sound. Below is three patch points including Signal in Out and Carrier In giving you the ability to connect both carrier and audio signals. The Eurorack-format module only requires 12HP ideal for the space conscious modular user.
