These strings are made from specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel for a well-balanced tone. Super Slinky strings are used by Jimmy Page Jeff Beck and Angus Young. Super Slinky Cobalt Electric Guitar Strings This string set has been engineered to maximise output and clarity. Cobalt strings provide an extended dynamic range increased low end incredible harmonic response and clear highs. These strings are soft and silky for easier string bending. Super Slinky M-Steel Electric Guitar Strings M-Steel strings are Ernie Balls loudest and most expressive strings. The wound strings are made up of a patented Super Cobalt alloy wrapped around a Maraging steel hex core wire producing a richer and fuller tone with powerful low end response.
