- The Evans 56 Calftone 22" EMAD Bass Drum Head embodies the look sound and all of the other qualities of traditional calfskin as well as having the fit consistency and tuning range that has been made possible with Level 360 Technology with the only difference being that the skin is made of an artificial substitute and not real calfskin. This head has been made by using a 12mm mylar base that has been blended with unique materials to give out warm full and rich tones just like natural calfskin would. With all the EMAD features this head has adjustable damping for added focus and attack.
