Neck carved to Eddies exact specifications The quartersawn baked maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods and carved to Eddie Van Halens preferred Wolfgang profile delivering a fast and comfortable feel that encourages fluid playing. Its hand-rubbed satin urethane finish provides a smooth natural surface that remains comfortable even during long playing sessions. Rolled fingerboard edges contribute to a broken-in feel straight out of the case while the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows quick and convenient setup changes without removing the neck or loosening the strings. Compound radius fingerboard for speed The ebony fingerboard features a 12"-16" compound radius that transitions from a slightly rounder feel near the nut to a flatter surface higher up the neck.
