- Fairfield Circuitry 20% More Slew Limit Distortion
- Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar or Electric Bass@+Versatile slew limiting distortion pedal for guitar, bass, synthesiser and virtually any other imaginable audio source. It uses a slew limiter to control how quickly the input voltage changes and limits it to a fixed volts-per-second rate. As time and frequency are inextricably linked, this process produces a steep, slightly distorted low-pass filter. When the pedal goes into resonance, the fixed waveforms transform into triangle waves, which form the backbone of the unmistakable sound of ‘20% More’. Furthermore, if the input signal is strong enough, it can overdrive these oscillations, resulting in pseudo-wavefolding and unique synthetic distortion artefacts.
