- 60s. The design of this all-in-one Strat power-up is directly based on the pickups found on genuine antique Strats built in 1963. As such, the coils have been wound using the historically accurate Formvar winding to make sure of that dynamic, gut-punching tone, warm low-range and shimmering high-end, and the poles have been staggered to retain balanced output across all six strings. Before you screw this game-changer to your Strat, you only need to make sure that the earthing wire is correctly fitted, then solder your jack input in.
