The Eclat Custom is a classic single cut with a twist, with great looks, playability, tone and versatility.<br><br>Eclat Custom Features<br><br>Body:<br>The solid carved maple cap, selected two-piece centre-jointed mahogany body, and mahogany neck with extended neck joint all coalesce to maintain the Eclat’s elegance and purity of line, and ensure the foundations of a constructional integrity which provides strength, superb resonance, and ensures amazing sustain.<br><br>The unique reduced profile neck joint and subtly extended cutaway offers enhanced upper fret access. The superb overall balance and ‘Forearm Scoop’, make the Eclat Custom a pleasure to wear.<br><br>Headstock:<br>The signature Fret-King headstock ensures perfect balance, classic looks, and great visual appeal.<br><br>Machine Heads:<br>Grover® 102C Rotomatics® machine heads provide quick, accurate, stable tuning.<br><br>Nut:<br>43mm Graph Tech® self-lubricating nut, smooth and friction free.<br><br>Neck:<br>Gloss finish, natural stain premium mahogany classic ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy, and a luxurious, ‘played in’ feel.<br><br>Fingerboard:<br>Premium Indian Rosewood for durability, and outstanding tonal transfer with a 10” radius for a super comfortable, responsive, positive playing feel.<br><br>Scale Length:<br>24 ¾” / 628mm.<br><br>Frets:<br>22 Medium profile hi-durability nickel silver frets ensure accuracy, comfort, and an overall feel.<br><br>Pickups:<br>A carefully curated set of Fret-King pickups enables the Eclat Custom to deliver phenomenal versatility.<br><br>The custom designed Fret-King Focusfield™ mini double coil pickups, created by Trev Wilkinson, give the Eclat Custom an inherent character and tonal versatility well versed in tradition, and eminently capable of multiple styles of music, from cool jazz to high energy rock.<br><br>For maximum performance versatility and broadest tonal palette, the Eclat Custom features a master volume with latching ‘Kill Switch’, latching out of phase switch on the master tone control and Fret-King’s unique Varicoil™ control, which progressively winds the selected double coil pickups down to single coil, all working together to provide a range of tones which go from searing, saturated bridge pickup sustain, overloaded with delicious harmonics, all the way to tingling transparent single coil bridge tones, with a cornucopia of tonal variation along the way.</p> <p>Control Functions:<br>• Three-way toggle selects neck, both, or bridge pickup.<br>• Master Volume with Push-Push latching kill switch.<br>• Master Tone with Push-Push Out of Phase Switch.<br>• Varicoil progressively rolls either or both Focusfield pickups from double coil to single coil.</p> <p>Bridge:<br>Enhancing the Eclat Custom's tonality is a direct mounted T.O.M. style bridge and stop tailpiece, which anchors the bridge solidly to the body ensuring the all important transfer of maximum string energy to the body and pickups.<br><br>Carry Bag:<br>The Eclat Custom comes with a Fret-King luxury gig bag.<br><br><em>The Eclat ™ Custom is an original Fret-King® design created by Trev Wilkinson and the UK Fret-King® design team.</em></p>
