- This is the GSB11-LE Gypsy Jazz string set. The image of Django Reinhardt on the front of this Galli Strings set makes it clear that they are very suitable for gypsy jazz anyway. They can of course just be used on Selmer-style guitars with a D-hole or an Oval Hole soundhole for that classic Manouche guitar sound, but they can also make your (electric-)acoustic flattop come alive with that famous touch of sweetness. Because these are .011 strings, they are ideally suited for signature La Pompe rhythm work. However, are you a soloist and prefer a bit more resistance when pressing your strings? Then, like many vaunted Gypsy Jazz masters, simply use these GSL strings. By the way, guitar virtuoso Stochelo Rosenberg also likes to play on Galli Strings acoustic guitar strings.
