Built to last All of the wood included has been handpicked to avoid complications such as knots and imperfections. The temperature and humidity treated body and neck wood comes completely shaped and fine sanded smooth but not lacquered. The Guitarworks Duo-Cutaway DIY Electric Guitar Kit includes an ash body. The sound of an ash body is unmistakable. It offers incredible resonance with sparkling highs an articulate midrange and fantastic low-end presence. The body also comes pre-routed and has been prepped to ensure wiring up the pickups selector switch and pots feels effortless. Thanks to its maple neck the Guitar is built to last offering a smooth playing experience so you can progress up and down the fretboard with ease. This can easily be attached to the body via its bolt-on design. Keen to avoid any wood going to waste the fretboard is composed of thermally treated maple which is then laminated to construct a neck with more strength and resistance than standard maple. Articulate tones The DIY kit features three single coil pickups. Single coil pickups are known for their bright sharp and clear ring with the neck pickup producing a mellow but full twang and the bridge emitting a clean acoustic-like resonance. The pickup configuration with five way tone switch also offers a crisp articulate tone with exceptional low end depth punch and sustain that will separate your guitar from the crowd.
