- The skys the limit With its unique design the LA Double Neck offers endless possibilities and encourages players to think outside of the box in creating riffs previously unheard of. The combined 4 and 6 string necks are easily controlled via dedicated volume knobs and a three-way switch. The controls give you the option to select a single side of the guitar or leave both sides active allowing you to play guitar or bass at the flip of a switch. The bass side of the guitar offers a classic split-coil humbucking pickup for a crisp and clear tone with good low end depth punch and sustain. This makes the double neck guitar not only a great statement but gives it practical applications for performers wishing to explore multiple tunings or perform live with a looper pedal. Crafted for the player Designed with the player in mind LA guitars prioritise minimal weight and excellent ergonomics. As such the body of the instrument is crafted from lightweight paulownia allowing you to play for hours without strain and ensuring you always feel your best during practice sessions. The classic double cutaway design and contoured body shape offer easy access to the entire fretboard and the bodys in-built strap buttons make it easy to attach the included strap enabling you to jam in whatever position feels most comfortable for you. Versatile electronics The design of the 6-string side of the guitar is taken directly from standard LA models coming equipped with three punchy single coil pickups and a five-way selector switch - a setup well known for its use by players such as Nile Rodgers John Frusciante Jimi Hendrix and many many more... The five-way switch allows you to select different combinations of the three pickups as follows: Bridge Pickup Only Middle and Bridge Pickups Middle Pickup Only Neck and Middle Pickups Neck Pickup Only Explainer: pickups are the magnets which take the vibrations of a guitar string and transfer the signal to an amplifier - learn more in the attached guitar guide! These five different options give access to a plethora of iconic tones. For example the 4th position is often associated with a funky super clean sound due to its particularly smooth and twangy timbre. On the other hand the 1st position is closely associated with soaring guitar solos and rock rhythm parts due to the way it cuts through clearly in a full-band setting. The three awesome pickups are also controlled via intuitive volume and tone dials making it easier than ever to get your ideal sound - the tone knob allows you to quickly brighten/dampen your tone and the volume knob gives you instant access to adjusting your level. Whats included? The LAs included accessories truly seal the deal. Theres a sturdy strap which will let you practise and play standing up as well as plectrums for hitting the strings. Then theres the cable for connecting the guitar to an amplifier and a gig bag to help keep your instrument safe from knocks and scratches when youre carrying it around.
