Product Fundamentals
 •
The Les Paul Standard 50s returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top and a mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop™ capacitors. Now available in vivid custom colors, a hardshell case completes the package.

Key Features

Solid Mahogany Body

Plain Maple Top

Burstbucker 1 and 2 Pickups

Made in Nashville, Tennessee

Body
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Shape: Les Paul
Body Styles: Les Paul
Top: Plain Maple
Weight Relief: None
Binding: Single-ply, Top and Fretboard
Body Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer

Neck
End Of Board Width: 57.4mm / 2.26in
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Fingerboard Radius: 304.8mm / 12.0in
Fret Count: 22
Frets: Medium Jumbo
Inlays: Acrylic Trapezoid
Joint: Glued In, Set Neck
Neck Material: Mahogany
Nut Material: Graph Tech
Nut Width: 43.05mm / 1.69in
Profile: 50s Vintage
Scale Length: 628.65mm / 24.75in

Electronics
Neck Pickup: Burstbucker 1
Bridge Pickup: Burstbucker 2
Pickup Selector: 3-way Toggle
Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone
