Product Fundamentals
  • Gibson P90 Soapbar Creme
  • Pickup@+Before Gibson developed the legendary PAF humbucker, the P90 Soap Bar single coil was built into most Gibsons as a standard pickup. In the 70s and 80s this classic was overlooked, but in recent years the Soapbar has experienced a renaissance in many guitars. An especially popular combination: mahogany guitar with P90. Nowadays hardly any manufacturers have such a model as part of their product range. @+@+What many guitarists love about the P90 / 94: Open sound and dynamics of a single coil pickup along with the bite and (if desired) distortion of a humbucker. The ideal pickup for Blues-/Crunch-sound. In comparison to the original, the P90 has greater output. A very hot tip for slide guitarists as well!
