Product Fundamentals
  • For smaller people and children, a banjo can sometimes be just a bit too big. If not the Gold Tone CC-MINI Cripple Creek Mini Banjo. With a scale of 19.75 inches (around 50 centimetres) and a bowl diameter of 8 inches, it is in fact pleasant to play even with the smallest hands. Despite its small size, the sound is grand. This is due to the materials used, which Gold Tone also uses for other models. The shell is made of laminated maple and has an open back. This combination makes for a more friendly, mellow sound that is fine in an acoustic setting. The tone ring made of rolled brass ensures that the sound still gets some punch and therefore does not become woolly. This kettle has an armrest that facilitates playing, and to make changing strings easier, it has a No-Knot tailpiece. Totally ideal: it comes with a carrying case.
