This nut is specially made from black TUSQ XL material, which provides improved tonal balance and increased harmonics. The comb features a slotted design, which means easy string positioning. In addition, the comb is impregnated with PTFE to reduce string breakage and improve tuning stability. The curved bottom makes this comb suitable for F-style instruments.
