But it has its own unique qualities based on the long history between Brooklyn New York and Gretsch Drums. The shell features 30-degree bearing edges for a vintage warmth and punch. The 302 hoops are double-flanged and 3mm thick harking way back to pre-50s Gretsch and providing an open resonance to the sound. Complete with Gretsch Silver Sealer on the inside.
