- The MR3eq is a compact 500-series module that offers a powerful parametric equaliser based on the electronics from Harrison&apos
- s legendary 1981 Music Recording 3 console. Its three bands offer 10 dB cut or boost. The frequency of the low band can be set between 40 Hz and 800 Hz. The high band, on the contrary, runs from 800 Hz to 15 Khz. The mid-band is in between at 400 Hz to 8 kHz: lots of leeway, in other words. The high and low band can be used as a shelf, or with a bell curve, and thus offer many possibilities to shape or correct the sound. A final handy addition is the high-pass filter, to completely filter out problematic low frequencies.
