Nomex is a Kevlar-like polymer produced in a honeycomb-like hexagonal structure which adds additional resonance and reduces weight. This creates a significantly improved tone compared to a single-top guitar. The result is an instrument with superior resonance and responsiveness. The increased strength also means that the guitars bracing is no longer essential to structural integrity &ndash
