  • An instant classic Rotary mixers are a throwback to the early days of DJing when they were used by DJs to craft smooth blends with their records. Introducing the Headliner R2 a two-channel rotary mixer equipped with a vintage design modern functionality and powerful inner components. Providing a warm analog sound and an elegant set of controls the Headliner R2 is one of the best in its class. The Headliner R2 features ergonomic pots that control high quality ALPS Potentiometers and spring loaded push buttons that provide access to different functions and the intricately designed circuitry ensures all audio signals that are fed through the mixer retain the utmost purity. Both channels have two stereo RCA inputs one line and one phono that you can switch between with push buttons at the top of the control panel. Retro controls Each channel has a three band EQ that you can use to cut out or boost certain frequencies when youre blending your tracks with total isolation when fully turned down and up to a +9dB boost when turned up. A main volume dial on each channel is used to bring your tracks to full volume on the master and you can further attenuate the volume of tracks with a gain control above the EQ for when you have an overtly loud song or one that&rsquo
  • s too quiet. The main output control bus also features independent gain controls for the master and the booth separately. Within the cue control bus you can adjust the volume of your headphones choose how much of the master output you can hear alongside the cued track and you can use a spring-loaded push button to split the cue. Ultimate utility Additionally the R2 also has an analog filter with a sweep knob and a resonance control you can assign this to either channel independently or at the same time with the two spring-loaded push buttons underneath each channels controls. This filter offers you a dynamic analog effect to apply to your tracks to isolate and highlight certain frequencies giving your transitions a smooth yet powerful edge. To plug your microphone into the mixer there is a Combi XLR/TRS input with a dedicated mic volume attenuator. Two LED volume unit meters allow you to visually monitor the volume of each channel so you can prevent clipping and feedback. Headphones with both 3.5mm and 1/4inch TRS Jacks can be connected thanks to two different sized headphone outputs on the front of the mixer. With an array of output choices the Headliner R2 master output and booth output both have stereo RC and XLR outputs and the mixer also features an independent stereo RCA output for recording. The record output is not affected by the master or booth controls so that you can turn the volume up and down without affecting your recording volume. Powered by a DC in Mini XLR cable the Headliner R2 is incredibly easy to set up. This is an ideal rotary mixer for any professional or beginner DJ.
