- s hands in mind. A special feature of this model is the combination of wood and plastic. A pearwood centre section and base have been used for the beautiful wood sound. The special antibacterial headpiece is made of blue plastic. This headpiece contains silver ions that prevent microbes from adhering to nanoparticles in the headpiece. German bore Recorders can have either a German or a baroque bore. The B95832 is fitted with a German bore. With a German bore, the fourth hole from the top is larger than the fifth, which is easier for the beginner. To prevent the flute from rolling off the table, for instance, a special Roll Stop system has been fitted. A useful accessory is the bag that comes with the instrument.
